Philosophy

At Hope ELCB we believe that educating little people is the foundation to a better society. Our aim is to provide children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for life-long learning. We recognise the stunning intellectual achievements of children from birth through early childhood, acknowledging the critical role our educators play in shaping brain development during these early years.

As a Christian organisation and affiliate of Blacktown Anglican Church, BACCC is committed to providing community services which affirm the worth of every individual in the eyes of God. Such a commitment will involve allowing service users the opportunities to hear of God's offer of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Curriculum

Our Service runs exciting educational programs to encourage children’s development and foster their interest in learning. We offer an indoor/outdoor program every day as we are fortunate enough to have an environment that can cater for this style of learning. As a Reggio Emilia inspired service, we fully embrace the Early Years Learning Framework as it very closely aligns with Reggio practices and Principles.

Munch and Move

Our Service has a Munch and Move implementation award which was given to the service in September 2021. So what is munch and move?

Munch & Move is a NSW Health initiative that supports the healthy development of children birth to 5 years by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and reduced small screen time (e.g. watching TV or DVDs, playing on computers and small hand-held games devices).
